Can I travel with rae?

Absolutely. rae + airport security = no drama.

It has a lithium battery, so just treat it like your phone or laptop which obvs means carry it in your hand luggage, not checked baggage, and make sure it’s turned off before boarding. Then once you’re in the air and the seatbelt sign is off, you can pop it under your jumper for mid-flight cramps or post-landing comfort.

It is also perfect for long hauls, road trips, or anywhere with questionable heating (Melbourne winter, much?).

 

How hot does it get?

Hot, but not scary-hot. We pushed it to the max (literally). rae reaches a safe, soothing 50°C, the sweet spot between relief and comfort. If using it directly on your skin, start low and toggle up.

How long does the heat last?

Depending on your setting (and your pain level):

• Low → up to 5 hours
• Medium → around 3 hours
• High → roughly 2 hours

Enough to see you through cramps, meetings, flights, or Netflix marathons. And yes, it recharges fast and comes ready for round two.

 

Is it safe?

100%. rae went through extensive testing and multiple safety certifications before launch. It’s built with premium components (unlike some!), an internal temperature regulator, and a soft silicone shell that evenly distributes heat without hotspots.

Can I use it for things other than my period?

Totally. Shoulders, lower back, neck, stomach ... anywhere that needs soothing warmth. It’s become a travel essential, WFH companion, and secret weapon for cold offices everywhere.

We built rae to replace hundreds of single-use heat packs. Every part was designed with longevity and the planet in mind, from the food-grade, recyclable silicone shell to the curb-side recyclable packaging made entirely from recycled materials.

We also made a conscious choice not to include a charger head because let’s be honest, you already have five. It’s not about cutting corners, it’s about cutting waste. And when rae finally reaches the end of its (very long) life, you can send it back to us for responsible disposal. Built to last, not landfill.
