Not another heat pad

Designed in Melbourne by someone who had the worst of it, then tested until it was actually good. Curved and winged so it sits where the cramp is. Silent. Slim enough that nobody knows it's on.

How long does it stay hot

Depends on the setting, and anyone who gives you one number is rounding. 5+ hours on low, around three on medium, around two on high. Ninety minutes to charge over USB-C.

How hot does it get

Up to 50°C on the highest setting. Auto shut-off and overheat protection built in. Scarlet doesn't recommend sleeping with it on.

What's it made of

Food-grade silicone, around 270g, splash-proof to IP54. Certified RoHS and RCM.

How do I wear it

Against skin, in the Period Pocket Brief, which has a pocket sewn in to hold it. Hands free, all day, under whatever you're already wearing.

Is it worth it over a wheat bag

A wheat bag gives you twenty minutes and a walk back to the microwave. rae gives you hours and comes to the meeting.

Is rae a medical device

No. rae is comfort, and that's the whole claim. Heat is part of a lot of endo toolkits, and rae is the version you can wear to work.
