Heating up in 5 minutes, rae reaches a comfy 50°C. That’s hot. Just press a button for 3 seconds to turn on, toggle between three heat settings: low (5 hours), medium (3 hours), or high (2 hours), and feel the heat.

Umm, what is rae?

rae is a wireless, wearable heat pad designed for period and pelvic comfort on the go. No cords, no microwaving, and no stick-on patches. Just rechargeable heat that fits discreetly under your clothes.

Does it get really hot?

rae has three heat settings so you can choose your level of warmth. The highest setting reaches up to 50°C for stronger, more targeted heat.

Will it stay in place?

Yes. rae was designed to move with you. Pair it with our Period Pocket Underwear for extra security, or wear it comfortably between your underwear and clothing.

Can I use rae without the undies?

rae is designed to get hot, so we do recommend using rae with them or otherwise over your undies. If using directly on the skin, start at the lowest setting and monitor your comfort.

How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on your heat setting, but generally:

When should I use rae?

As early as possible is best. Pop rae on at the first sign of your period or the first twinge of discomfort, rather than waiting until the cramps have properly set in. Heat works best as a head start, not a rescue mission.

How to use

Spoiler: it’s pretty easy. Setting rae up is faster than boiling a kettle.

1. Charge

Charge with the included USB-C cable from a laptop, wall adaptor, or power bank. Then unplug and go.

Step 2. Wear. Slip it in our custom Period pocket Underwear so it stays in place.

Why I built rae

I lived with severe period and pelvic pain for years. Stage-four endometriosis, adenomyosis, hormone treatments and multiple surgeries. I was dismissed, brushed off, and told to push through.

The products meant to help didn’t. Bulky wheat bags. Painful adhesives. Clunky design that didn’t fit real life. Nothing wearable. Nothing discreet. Nothing made by someone who actually lived with pain.

So I built the device I needed.
