You have questions. We have answers.
Umm, what is rae?
rae is THE heat pad that’s here to go with your flow. Designed in Australia, rae is slim, soft, and curved for extra comfort. With three heat settings and flexible wings that hug your body, it’s USB-rechargeable, splash-proof, and fits right into our custom period undies pouch.
How do I wash them?
After using them, rinse them in cold water until they run clear. We love taking them straight in the shower with us. (That’s peak efficiency.) Then, machine wash on a cold setting with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach! And for extra protection, pop them in our Laundry Bag.
Now just hang them out in your garden, courtyard, or sun-soaked balcony. Or if it’s raining on laundry day, tumble dry them on a low setting.
Can I use the undies without rae?
We’re not here for rules, so you do you boo! They do have additional fabric for the pocket at the front so if not using with rae, you might prefer our Bikini Brief or High-Waisted Brief.
What do the different absorbency levels mean?
Our Period Pocket undies come in two absorbencies. Level 1 (Light—Moderate) absorbs 3 teaspoons of fluid (roughly equal to 2 regular tampons or 1 regular pad) and level 2 (Moderate—Heavy) absorbs 5 teaspoons of fluid (approximately equal to 3 regular tampons or 2 regular pads).
Can I use rae without the undies?
rae is designed to get hot, so we do recommend using rae with them or otherwise over your undies. If using directly on the skin, start at the lowest setting and monitor your comfort.
How do I pick the right size for me?
We get it — sizing for bottoms is anything but standardised. Which is why this size guide will help break it down for you. For extra ass-urance, make sure to whip out your trusty measuring tape. (Most likely stashed at the bottom of your junk drawer.) Make sure to check both our numeric and letter sizing so no confusion (ie. Our large is a 12). And when in doubt, feedback tells us better to size up.
