The Scarlet Period Cup is a reusable menstrual cup crafted from medical-grade silicone, offering up to 8 hours of leak-proof protection. Say goodbye to leaks, waste, and frequent bathroom trips!

Available in two sizes - regular and large - to accommodate different body types and flows. It can be (comfortably) worn during physical activities, such as swimming and exercising, but should not be worn during sex.

👉 Size 1 (regular) holds up to 5 teaspoons of blood (equivalent to 2.5 regular tampons or 2 regular pads). 

👉 Size 2 (large) holds up to 6.5 teaspoons of blood (equivalent to 4 regular tampons or 3 regular pads).

Easy Care, Zero Fuss

Designed for ease of use, this cup features an indented finger-grip system and a flexible stem that can be trimmed for a perfect fit. It is easily removable, washable, and comes with its own Steriliser Case for convenient cleaning and storage.

Before first use, sterilize the cup by adding a small amount of water to the Steriliser Case, placing it face down in the microwave for 1 minute. Allow it to cool before handling.

Love it!!!!

I've used a couple other period cups before, so I'm used to using them, and bought this to have another spare one. I have to say this is the best of the ones that I own. The silicon is very soft and once you work out how to use, is so comfortable! I'm very impressed. I also really like the container it comes with, helps with storage especially with travelling, and makes cleaning in the microwave so super easy. If you're unsure about using a period cup for the first time, I really recommend you give it a go!!! I even went swimming on day 2 of my period and did not leak a single bit! Game changer!!!!!!

Firstly, I love that it's red. It's a lot more flexible than my old Lunette. And having a case to carry it in that you can also sterilise it in (in under a minute) is a game changer. Manages my heavy flow much better than tampons ever did.

WHAT IS THE SCARLET PERIOD CUP?

It is a reusable period cup made of 100% soft medical grade silicone that is worn internally like a tampon, but collects, rather than absorbs, your menstrual flow. 

As it has more than 2.5x the capacity of a regular tampon, you can safely wear it for up to 8 hours before emptying. The Scarlet Period Cup is designed for ultimate comfort. Once your cup is in place, you shouldn't feel a thing.

WHAT SIZE PERIOD CUP SHOULD I GET?

Size 1 (regular) is ideal for people who have not given birth, or experience lighter to medium flows. Holds 5 teaspoons (or up to 2.5 regular tampons).

Size 2 (large) is great for people who have given birth or have a heavier flow. Holds 6.5 teaspoons (or up to 4 regular tampons).

CAN THE PERIOD CUP GET LOST?

Your Scarlet Period Cup CANNOT GET LOST. Sometimes the cup can move higher in the vagina, but don’t panic. Try using your pelvic muscles to push down to lower it. The force and skill of gravity will bring it down. Gotta love science.

HOW DO I EMPTY IT IN A PUBLIC BATHROOM?

We get asked this a lot. Simply take out your Scarlet Period Cup and empty it into the toilet. When out and about, we suggest keeping a bottle of water and a few sachets of our Cup Wipes handy so it’s super easy to wipe your cup clean. We also have our Cup & Hand Wash, a pH balanced, low-foaming wash designed specifically to clean your Scarlet Period Cup.

Make sure to check that the holes at the side of the cup are clear before reinserting the cup. No mess, no fuss.

IS THE CUP SAFE?

It's made with 100% medical grade silicone, and is free from Plastic, BPA, Rubber and Latex. As you are inserting it internally, always ensure you have clean hands (and of course, start with a clean Cup!).

Remember to always read the label and follow the included instructions for you.


IMPORTANT: Menstrual cups have been associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). TSS is a rare but serious disease that may cause death. Read and keep the provided instructions and information for reference.

HOW SHOULD I CLEAN IT?

We offer three easy cleaning methods so you can pick and choose what’s right for you:

👉 Wash in warm water and our Cup & Hand Wash.

👉 Wipe with an On-The-Go Cleansing Wipe.

👉Place face down in it's Steriliser Case and microwave with 5ml of water for 1 minute. Allow to cool before touching.

We recommend storing your Cup in the Steriliser Case when not in use or when you’re on-the-go to keep it clean and protected.
