Your Questions, Answered

Umm, what is rae?

rae is THE heat pad that’s here to go with your flow. Designed in Australia, rae is slim, soft, and curved for extra comfort. With three heat settings and flexible wings that hug your body, it’s USB-rechargeable, splash-proof, and fits right into our custom period undies pouch.

How hot does rae get?

It has a built-in thermometer, so it maintains the heat level depending on the heat setting you are using (up to 50 degrees). We suggest always starting on a low setting until you get used to it and find the right heat for you.

Won’t rae just fall out of my pants?

Nope, because we’ve come up with a genius solution. Meet our Period Pocket Underwear: a customised version of our best-selling period underwear with a little pouch for the device, perfect for when you’re on the move.

Attached to your regular undies? No problem! Wear rae between your underwear and clothing. If using it directly on the skin, stick to a lower heat setting.

Can I use rae without the undies?

rae is designed to get hot, so we do recommend using rae with them or otherwise over your undies. If using directly on the skin, start at the lowest setting and monitor your comfort.

Can I use the undies without rae?

We’re not here for rules, so you do you boo! They do have additional fabric for the pocket at the front so if not using with rae, you might prefer our Bikini Brief or High-Waisted Brief.

What does the absorbency level mean?

Super Light: Holds up to 1 teaspoon, which is equal to less than one regular tampon. Think of it as a new-age panty liner, so it’s great for spotting, light leaks and discharge. Try: Invisible Thong

Light: Holds up to 3 teaspoons, which is equal to 2 regular tampons or one pad. This is for light days to save you from pesky drips, discharge, and lighter flows. Try: G-String or Bikini Brief in Light-Moderate

Moderate: Holds up to 5 teaspoons, which is equal to 3 regular tampons or 2 pads. Go for this on moderate days or as extra defence on heavy days with our Period Cup. Try: High-Waisted Brief or Bikini Brief in Moderate-Heavy

Heavy: Holds up to 7 teaspoons, which is equal to 4 regular tampons or 3 pads. Our heavy hitters are great to wear on their own, day or night. Try: Boyshort or Period Cup

Great little hottie just needs..

Love my scarlet Rae as an endo and fibro warrior for 20 years it’s nice to find new products helping life with chronic pain better. If I could have one thing it would be an elasticated belt that it could slip into (like a running belt) so I can use it around the house or out and about. As I suffer from chronic nerve pain having the ability to wear it around my hip or lower back would really give it a 5* review. I did take it to a restaurant the other day and place it discretely on my chair. amazing

So much better than a heat pack

I used this for the first time this week, and honestly what a game changer. I got the underwear too and it was super comfy and a glorious amount of heat constantly delivered.

Rae Heat pad

I finally invested in a more sustainable form of heat therapy for my endo pain- the consistent heat is really great , including a band to hold in place for ease of wear under clothes would be really useful.

Portable relief that works

I genuinely didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. I use it at work, in the car, even walking the dog. No cords, no leaking heat pack, no drama. Just instant warmth exactly where I need it.
