Why is everyone obsessed with magnesium?! And it’s not even oil?

Because it’s bloody amazing! Magnesium plays a vital role in over 300 biochemical processes in the body. It impacts energy, muscle function, and stress management. It can help with improved sleep, muscle relaxation, and overall well-being.

And you're right, Sherlock. Magnesium oil is called "oil" due to its slick texture, although you’re spot on, it's not a true oil in a chemical sense. It’s still packed with buckets of benefits, plus an ultra-nourishing sensation on the skin.

Are there any parabens or sulfates hiding in here?

Nope, we think those ingredients are nasty. Our bubble bath is 100% free from parabens and sulfates, plus silicones, synthetic fragrances, alcohol, and harsh soaps. Aka, anything that will disrupt your vaginal flora and pH levels. No thank you.

Are they easy to wash?

After use, give them a good rinse in cold water to remove any chlorine or salt water. Then, machine wash in cold water with mild detergent (no bleach!). Try our Laundry Bag to safeguard them on laundry day. Then just hang out to dry (the sunnier the better) or tumble dry on low - that’s it!

TIP: If it’s your first wear, pop them in the washing machine with your next cold cycle - washing them before wearing activates their absorbency even more

Scarlet Period Underwear is designed to fit like normal underwear and features multi-layered leak-proof technology that wicks away moisture, absorbs fluid, and contains it to keep you dry and protected.

Do I need to wear a cup, tampon, or pad too?

Depending on the absorbency level you choose and the heaviness of your flow, you can wear our period panties on their own or as backup protection along with a Period Cup or tampon.

What does the absorbency level mean?

Super Light: Holds up to 1 teaspoon, which is equal to less than one regular tampon. Think of it as a new-age panty liner, so it’s great for spotting, light leaks and discharge. Try: Invisible Thong

Light: Holds up to 3 teaspoons, which is equal to 2 regular tampons or one pad. This is for light days to save you from pesky drips, discharge, and lighter flows. Try: G-String or Bikini Brief in Light-Moderate
