Smoothies that soothe? Heck yes! My Moonbox Founder Nikki Gonda shares her favourite recipes packed with vitamins, fibre and minerals essential for healthy, happy hormones.

THE FIX: Looking for something to down when those pesky period cramps strike? With a mix of bananas (rich in vitamin B6 and potassium), pineapple (for manganese to help any PMS-related irritability), Luna's Gold Superfood Blend (with anti-inflammatory turmeric and ginger), avocado (healthy fats and lots of yummo), Moonbox Earth Seeds (essential fatty acids, protein and fibre) and Spinach (fibre for a thriving gut microbiome) you’ll be drinking your way to a more bearable cycle.
THE MIX: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 3 minutes until a smoothie consistency.
THE FIX: Green smoothies can be both delicious AND hormone healthy! To make any smoothie hormone-healthy make sure to include a good source of protein to stabilise blood sugar and keep you satiated, some fibre to feed good gut bacteria and promote healthy elimination of excess hormones, and of course some healthy fats to MAKE hormones and fight inflammation.
